Del Mundo Body Jewelry at P&P Tattoo

Last week, the boy and I travelled to P and P Eastwood to meet up with the lovely Vicky Panopio. Vicky is one of the two sisters who own the Panopio Jewelry Brand. Her latest venture is the Del Mundo Body Jewelry line.

Del Mundo Body Jewelry carries the most exquisite belly rings made from quality materials. Made for women who have piercings but dare not wear the usual tacky body jewelry found in malls (yes, I talk of those rings with yin yang/"sexy"/"b*tch" designs on them). These belly rings are just the prettiest, sparkliest things I've seen in a while.

I heard their giving away a custom made belly ring on their Facebook page. There's also talk of a giveaway on WIM, stay tuned for that!

Kalayo at the Sole Initiative Launch

It was weeks ago when I first watched Kalayo perform.  They played at the Tribu Sole Initiative Launch.

With the band's music described as "filipino world music", this is definitely a sound you must experience. Formerly Pinikpikan, the band has been around for quite some time wowing audiences with a different type of music.

Kalayo is composed of Sammy Asuncion, Louie Talan, Boy Garrovillo, Budeths Casinto, DJ Rodriguez, and Reli de Vera. You can find their Facebook page here.

Draft at The Fort

Fun night with good food, great beer, and even greater people.

And guess what? I drove! I drove to the fort for the first time, drove home, and am still in one piece! I got lost too, but that's another story (I curse confusing signage!).

We checked out Draft at the Fort, great place! Wait for my WIM on this here: Draft

Still hung up on how crazy big that Hoegaarden mug is.
