12: On your Birthday

A life without you would be drab and dreary.

Take this day and know you are loved. Take this day to look at the world and all of its beauties, including how perfectly imperfect everything is. Take this day and realize that things fall into place, that it's going to be alright. Take this day to smile. Take this day and know that today you celebrate your existence, and yes, I celebrate it with you, for I'm one of those whose life you've touched.

I think I love you.

Maybeline Color Sensational: Wine & Angel Rose

Two of my lipstick staples. Wine is the redder darker one. I love this since I've always thought that I could never wear red lipstick because they exaggerate my lips. This one works though.

The pink one is Angel Rose. Although the lipstick name is baduy, I like it because it's just the right pink. I don't think those shocking pink shades go well with my complexion.

Maybeline is a good cheap brand. It also doesn't melt as easily as those NYX lipsticks.

DIY: Newspaper Nails

Too much StumbleUpon last night, when I stumbled upon this:

http://www.sweetandnerdy.com

I was itching for a DIY project and this was the fastest easiest one so....
You'll need:

11: I apologize for the lack of words, the lack of ideas.

The traffic and buzzing and movement in my head. And yet there are days when I see things with immense clarity-- a split second and it's gone.

In Photos: Pacquiao Sunday

Between you and me, the food that day was more of a highlight than the fight.

Soderno at Molito

I'm very, very excited about Soderno. Apparently, they'll start this Friday (Nov 18), and then every weekend after that. Yay!

For those of you who have no idea, Soderno is basically a weekend market like Mercato, only in the south. From the same organizers, too.

This will be set up at Molito which is directly across Alabang Town Center. For people from the south like me who have been dying to go to weekend markets but always find them too far away, this is exactly the answer to our prayers.

Check out their schedule:

  • SODERNO LIFESTYLE MARKET every SATURDAY (7am-4pm). The Lifestyle market is the place to enjoy fashion, arts and crafts and food.
  • SODERNO ORGANIC MARKET every SUNDAY (7am-4pm). The Organic Lifestyle market is the place to go for food, organic and natural produce and eco-friendly products.
  • SODERNO NIGHT MARKET every FRIDAY & SATURDAY (6pm-3am). The vibrant Night market combines the best that each market has to offer: fashion, arts & crafts and, of course, food!

Check out their website: http://www.soderno.com/

Hear that? That's the chorus of southern angels and their hallelujahs. Thank God for Soderno, am I ever excited!

10: On being cryptic

Emotions,
Like the tide swelling into a wave

Careful not to spill, careful not to burst.
Hold your breath, darling.

Let go, release..
either way, the tears fall.

9: Shall we dance?

The challenge is consistency.

In the flurry of everyday life, nothing stays in place. How do we keep our place?

It's me and you, side by side, hand in hand. What compels me to insist that we stay as we are is the same fear that gives me my doubts, the thought that it can all fall apart.

But then I realize, the challenge is not consistency, the challenge is moving around, and not losing your footing.
