DIY Nail Patch Manicure: stick on holiday nails!

Simple and easy Christmas themed nails that cost me PHP 39!
(Excuse the monkey, it was a cereal freebie I found adorable)

Holidays are coming! To put myself in a more festive mood, I came up with this manicure!

I've been trying to rest my nails from polish lately as they've been getting so much damage from all the painting I've been doing. It doesn't help that I've very brittle nails in the first place. Because of this little nail polish hiatus, nails stickers have been a godsend.

I've done a couple of manicures with different types of nail stickers before (here, here, and here) and I've still been experimenting to find out which ones I like best. Here's yet another bunch of nail patches I found while in the grocery (Shopwise), and look, they're all nice and shiny!

Each pack costs (gasp!) PHP 39. A definite steal!

I chose to try the snowflake design first because "it's christmastime, it's christmastimeeeeee!"

Nail stickers are very simple to use. Usual instructions include picking out the the corresponding size and shape, sticking the stickers on and filing away the excesses.

Instant holiday nails!

(with natural light)

It took me 10 minutes to apply this manicure, though I don't think I did a few nails right since they peeled away easy. Usual nail stickers claim to last for a week but the longest I've had them on is 2 days, then again I do a lot of crafty weird things with my hands and polish usually chips off in 3 or 4 days so might just be me.

What do you think of this cute holiday manicure?
