Ray-bans: The Living Legends

Floral pants: something I thought I'd never touch.

Way back when, I thought I'd never do a lot of things. I think I've mentioned it before-- 5 years ago, if someone told me I'd be traipsing around the city taking photos of my outfit, I'd probably laugh at their face. And yet, here we are.

All this blogging and outfit posting has taught me a lot in the little time that I've been doing it. I find myself bolder and more willing to venture into things I am not as familiar or comfortable with, whether it be clothes or situations.

As I have learned, things change and we all grow. I think, though, that these little changes and improvements we allow ourselves to have make for better individuals in the end. Towards the end of the day, this is what matters: a better version of ourselves, and this is what makes us rememberable, this is what legends are made of.

These Ray Bans are my dad's from a long time ago. I am amazed at how timeless they are.
 Legen-- wait for it-- daaaarrrry.

Special thanks to Lissa Kahayon of Scene Stealer who motivated me to post this blog. Met her once at a Roxy event and she is very, very nice.

Parisian Bag; Shoebox clogs; Pants from Metro Gaisano; DIY rosary necklace;
Vintage Ray Ban Aviators; Penshoppe jacket

Photos by Jani Diaz.

My fashion basics (leather like jacket, rosary necklace, etc), my dad's vintage Ray Bans and something a little different this time in form of these floral pants. Trying to be more fearless, and that does not only apply to my fashion choices.

  2. Okay, so, hi Isa. :))

    You probably know by now that you're one of my blogging idols, except that I can never post enough/take enough pictures/get enough clothes to look this good. Believe me, I've tried (my poor wallet!), but nope, never.

    That being said, another great post with great pictures. Cheers!

    1. Hi Frankie! Thank you for your kind words. Yes, the shoots aren't easy and I also don't have a closet full of wonderful clothes (you don't know the process that goes into these outfits!) but I think you just have to be resourceful. I, for one, am a very cheap shopper and I live for bargains. I go to all the sales and shop in department stores (I love 'em!). If not, I go through my mom's cabinet. So much cool stuff to be had there.

      As for the photos, I just gather friends who like photography and ask them if they could take shots of me. They always give in to my whims. Heehee!

      I am so sure you can be a (fashion) blogger if you like. I've seen your posts and you come up with very cute looks! (I especially love that androgynous look you posted).

      Thank you! :)
